CASSIE, LEAD DENTAL ASSISTANT
Cassie is one of our assistants at Gunbarrel Dental Center. She is originally from Connecticut, but has moved back to Colorado with her husband, a Colorado native, and their cat Theo in 2021. Cassie graduated from a DANB certified Dental Assisting program in Connecticut in 2017 and an Expanded Duties Dental Assisting program in Colorado in 2023. She enjoys every aspect of dentistry. In her free time, you can find her and her husband hiking the local trails, paddling on a lake, or exploring new restaurants. Cassie enjoys connecting with all of her patients on a personal level and looks forward to getting to know all of our new patients who join Gunbarrel Dental Center.
RACHELLE, LEAD DENTAL HYGIENIST
Rachelle has been practicing dental hygiene since 2011. She graduated top of her class with high honors from Pima College in Tucson, Arizona. Rachelle grew up in Prescott, Arizona, where her love of dentistry started at a young age. She is now enjoying Colorado and all this wonderful area has to offer.
Rachelle’s gentle touch and calming demeanor will put even the most anxious patient at ease. Committed to continuous learning, Rachelle enjoys applying that knowledge to impact her patient’s dental health positively. In her spare time, Rachelle enjoys hiking, watching movies, and cooking food from around the world.
ALIX, DENTAL ASSISTANT
Alix is an assistant here at Gunbarrel Dental Center. She received her Expanded Duties Dental Assistant Certification and passed the Dental Assistant National Board in 2009. She loves bringing her experience and knowledge chairside to bring patients comfort throughout their dental appointments.
In 2018 Alix and her wife moved from the Florida panhandle to Colorado, where now they have been enjoying the mountain trails. When not outdoors you can find her playing video/board games or knitting.
SHELIA, OFFICE MANAGER
Shelia is our office manager. She is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She has been in the medical field for over 30 years and transitioned into dentistry in particular 10 years ago. She and her husband moved to Colorado in 2018 for her husband’s EMS Helicopter Pilot position, serving the Boulder County community. Shelia and her husband enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and living in their mountain community. Shelia is passionate about helping our patients receive the high quality dental care they deserve.
